Sports in Boston

Would you like to watch a game?  Boston offers baseball with the Boston Red Sox, basketball with the Boston Celtics, and hockey with the Boston Bruins.  There are also other sporting events such as the Boston Marathon and the U.S. Tennis Pro Championship to keep you busy while you are here.  We have listed several of the sports teams and events to help you plan your Boston vacation.
Professional Teams
Boston Red Sox - Fenway Park is a must if you are visiting Boston between April and September (don't even joke about October). Built in 1912, the stadium is the smallest in the Major Leagues and that means tickets are correspondingly pricey and hard to come by.  (617) 267-1700
Boston Bruins - Play at the new Fleet Center and are one of the most known professional hockey teams around.  Certainly New England's favorite.  (617) 931-2222.
Boston Celtics - Boston's Basketball team, now play at the new Fleet Center but still has the championship banners and famous numbers from great players such as Larry Bird hanging from the rafters.   (617) 931-2222.
New England Revolution - Boston's newest sports addition.  The Major League Soccer team actually play in Foxboro just 45 minutes south of Boston and share the Foxboro Stadium with The New England Patriots. (617) 931-2222
New England Patriots - Boston's closest professional football team actually play in Foxboro stadium.  (617) 931-2222
Sporting Events
Boston Marathon - The B.A.A. Boston Marathon is the world's oldest and most prestigious annual marathon.  Each year it is held in Patriots' Day, a holiday honoring Paul Rever's celebrated ride signaling the start of the American Revolution.  (617) 236-1652
Regular Events
Karting America - Indoor go-kart racing facility serving corporations and general public with 4 conference rooms, exhibition area, food/beverage service and other complimenting entertainment.  (781) 356-8180
Redington Park - Located in the southeastern corner of NH.  Top flight thoroughbred horse racing in a country setting.  (603) 898-2311
Seabrook Greyhound Park - Dog racing. (603) 474-3065
